Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Ajda ("Ajda", "the App", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Description of the App
Ajda is an iOS application that helps you:
- Compare 2 to 5 grocery offers from shelf tags, screenshots, receipts, barcodes, or manual entry
- Model Saudi shelf promotions such as 2+1, N for a price, bonus quantity, discounts, loyalty prices, and coupons
- See which offer is cheaper per unit and what the difference is at checkout
- Keep comparisons and history on your device
- Optionally use cloud AI extraction with consent, including via paid ai_quality subscription tiers
Ajda is a comparison and informational tool. It does not sell groceries, list a nationwide price database, or guarantee that any offer is the cheapest available.
What the App Does Not Do
Ajda does not:
- Provide a nationwide retailer price database or weekly flyer catalogue
- Guarantee the cheapest price in Saudi Arabia or any store
- Guarantee the accuracy of AI extraction or OCR without your review
- Require an account, name, email, or phone number
- Replace your own verification of offers at the retailer
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Ajda only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App
- Abuse cloud extraction, quotas, or integrity protections
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Misrepresent Ajda’s results as official unit prices or retailer commitments
Intellectual Property
Our Rights
Ajda and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Saud Alsaeed and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Content
You retain all rights to the offer details and images you enter or capture. The App provides tools to compare and calculate based on what you confirm.
Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Ajda is free to download. The comparison calculator remains available without payment. Optional auto-renewable subscriptions unlock additional cloud AI extraction quality or quota (entitlement: ai_quality), offered as weekly and/or yearly plans through the Apple App Store.
- Free: Compare offers, on-device reading, manual entry, local history, and sharing.
- Optional subscription: Higher cloud AI extraction quality/quota. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate shown in the App Store. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable. Refunds are handled under Apple’s refund policies. By purchasing, you also agree to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (or the custom EULA if designated for the App).
Prices are displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase and may vary by territory.
Disclaimers
"As Is" Basis
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of extraction, unit prices, or checkout differences
Results Depend on Your Inputs
Verdicts are calculations from the prices, sizes, and promotion details you confirm. Unit prices are not official or regulated labels. Ajda does not guarantee AI extraction accuracy; you must review extracted fields before calculating.
Not Shopping or Financial Advice
The App is for informational purposes only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, consumer, or legal advice. Always verify offers at the retailer before purchasing.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Saud Alsaeed shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Purchase decisions or perceived savings based on information from the App
- Loss of local comparison data
- Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or any subscriptions in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Saud Alsaeed from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
